After recent reports of Lil Wayne and Drake hitting the stage for a summer tour emerged online, Weezy's manager
has reportedly confirmed the nationwide run.

The upcoming tour will kick-off this July.
We have learned that as of right now it is only Lil Wayne and Drake on the tour, no word on Jay-Z and Young Jeezy
who were rumored to be joining as well. We also

learned that the tour will begin in July this summer. No dates and venues have been announced but we can expect those soon.
This information has been confirmed by Wayne?s manager Cortez Bryant. We will be keeping you up-to-date on any news
regarding the tour, as well as posting dates as they become available. Keep checking back. (New Lil Wayne)
Drake previously
said a tour with hip-hop's elite would likely take place this summer.

"God willing, if everything goes according to plan and everybody's schedule is in place, then I will be on tour with some amazing
people," Drake said in an interview. "One of them being Jay-Z, one of them being Lil Wayne, one of them being Young Jeezy and

one of them being me." (Much Music)
He recently credited Kanye West for his overall rhyming skills.
"Kanye West shaped a lot of what I do," Drake said in an interview. "He has one of the best ears in music, period. He knows how
to recognize great music that's not his. He knows how to utilize great sounds, great music. Before I met him I had the utmost respect
for Kanye West, I'd even go as far as to say he was one of the most influential person, as far as a musician, that I had ever had in my
life...We met in Hawaii, we didn't get to spend that much time together but when I did meet him, everything was cool. It was more in
my mind that, 'All right, I can't wait to prove myself to this dude,' I wanna continue to work hard and prove to him that I'm worthy of
him working with me. I think that's what the last few months have been about." (MTV)

Drake is reportedly prepping his new album beginning next month.
The sold-out Ne York performance was Drake's last stop before he enters the studio for his debut, Thank Me Later, which he will
start working on June 1, Drake told Billboard.com last week. And although he wouldn't confirm which major label will release the
album, he did say he will be signing to one soon. "So Far Gone" was released on February via his blog site Octobersveryown.com. (Billboard)

The rap mogul confirmed his Def Jam buy-out and departure from Def Jam last week.
"I can honestly say, working with Doug Morris and LA Reid has been a unique and fulfilling experience and I respect them immensely,
" Jay said in an interview. "I've been in the family for almost my entire career. Doug and I spoke directly and had one of the most unique

Not every artist can say they own or are given the opportunity to own all of their music." (Rap Radar)

G-Unit producer Sha Money XL recently spoke on the problems 50 Cent's rap group has had with Interscope Records and what the
future holds for the hip-hop mogul.

Calling out the label's staff members, Sha broke down the reasons behind Interscope's artist development problems.
"Honestly, G-Unit is going through a new phase right now and Interscope right now is not the best home for them," Sha said in an interview.
"It's a point in time where employees and everybody just not ethused enough to making things move forward and the staff...honestly, everybody
rode off the G-Unit wave. They didn't have to f*cking work, we f*cking created the wave and they rode it. So soon as it's time to
work and they gotta show and prove, ain't nobody show and proved and f*cking getting radio and nobody doing what they gotta do 'cause it's a f*cking c*ck sucking industry, aight? So everybody rode the wave and now we're sitting here wondering what the f*ck is wrong with Interscope. They never had to f*cking work in the beginning, I'm sorry Jimmy Iovine] but it's the truth. Get better f*cking employees...50 is the f*cking genius man, honestly, he's unpredictable. As much as I knew him from 1996 to now, motherf*cker is unpredictable, he's crazy. You can't never understand what he's gonna do next. He's a genius, so you know what? There's more Vitamin Water deals coming." (The Urban Daily)
